John Burgoyne was born and raised in the UK where he obtained a B.Sc. in Estate Management in 1972. He emigrated to Canada in 1973 and settled in Vancouver. During his early years in BC he was employed by the Provincial Ministry of Human Resources in a variety of positions until he attended UBC law school; he graduated with an LLB. in 1988.

John’s legal career has encompassed a variety of practice areas as a civil litigator. His experience includes complex products liability cases, disputed estates, real estate, medical malpractice and personal injury. For the past decade his practice has been exclusively Personal Injury representing both plaintiffs and defendants.
